Media Room Makeover with DesertDecor
Written by DesertDecor
Over the years as our family has grown and changed, so has the way we’ve utilized many rooms in our home! Looking at our media room for example, it used to be a guest room, then a playroom, and now that our babies are entering their teenage years, we’ve transitioned it into a cozy hangout spot our where kids will feel excited to bring their friends!
When choosing pieces for this space we considered comfort, durability, and function. We knew the 2-piece Kipton slipcover sectional was the perfect sofa to accommodate a room full of kids playing video games, or camping out to watch their favorite movie! The combination of memory foam and down feathers makes this the perfect comfort piece for any home!
In addition to enjoying movies and video games, our kids love board games! It was important for us to find a durable and substantial coffee table we can gather around to play our favorite games. We selected the handcrafted Hudson coffee table, and absolutely fell in love with the turned legs. It’s the perfect size to accommodate our family game nights…and bonus, it’s gorgeous!
Most importantly, we needed the perfect media cabinet to house the new big screen TV. The Chorus media cabinet in the natural barn wood finish was the perfect piece because of its glass front doors and easy to open hardware! This is the second piece we own from the Arhaus Chorus collection. We love the classic design, and the aged details that really make it feel one of a kind and special.
We couldn’t be happier with how we transitioned this room into a space we can all enjoy! These timeless, and quality Arhaus pieces will be in our home for years to come.
