How to Extend Your Indoor Style Outside

How to Extend Your Indoor Style Outside

Have you ever wondered how you could add livable space to your home without renovating, or adding more square footage? Why not create an outdoor space that feels like an extension of your interior!

We’re all utilizing our outdoor spaces more than ever so why not make yours as inviting as possible, taking all of the cozy charm from inside your home and extending it to your exterior?

Create an inviting seating area

Consider selecting pieces for your outdoor spaces that are comfortable, and beautiful enough to use indoors as well. It’s amazing to have an outdoor sofa or sectional that feels as comfortable as your favorite indoor sofa! Believe or not, these types of outdoor pieces do exist—my family often finds ourselves lounging in the breeze for hours on our beautiful Wyatt Outdoor Sectional.

Bring in all the cozy elements

Rugs are a phenomenal way to elevate your outdoor living space. They help anchor your design and create the illusion of indoor living. There are many high quality outdoor rugs that will last for seasons, and having something soft underfoot is sure to keep you feeling cozy!  Also, consider using outdoor pillows and poufs to soften the look of your space and add pops of color and texture. Plus, poufs make great ottomans and double as extra seating. 😉

Serve up fresh style

Alfresco dining is a wonderful and intimate way to share a meal with your loved ones. Create a beautiful dining space outdoors by starting with an all-weather dining table. Add in some matching seating or mix up your dining set with seating in a different material, like our wicker Wyatt chairs.

Anchor your space with an outdoor rug and you could even consider adding special lighting above the table. And, of course, don’t forget the details with some outdoor decor for around the table!
