“We Shall lead, protect, heal, comfort and shelter those who cannot speak for themselves.”

—Paw Works, The Happiest Tails on Earth

We believe that all animals deserve a warm and loving home. Sadly, nearly 3 million pets are put down in shelters every year, 80% of which are healthy enough to be adopted if given the chance. To give these love-able guys a helping paw, Paw Works animal rescue works with shelters around California to give abandoned animals a second chance at life and the opportunity to find a family of their own.

Every Paw Works volunteer works tirelessly to promote responsible pet ownership both inside the shelters and within the community—by putting on educational programs and offering free vaccines, microchipping, neutering and spaying for low income pet owners.

In support of Paw Works and their efforts, Arhaus hosts events throughout the year to help raise money and awareness for these adoptable pets. We’ve been able to partner on many projects, including the honor of furnishing their offices to create a comfortable atmosphere for both the volunteers and animals.

You can help these four-legged friends too! Join us to celebrate 5 years of work and nearly 5,000 animals saved at the Paw Works 5th annual Ties and Tails Gala. This year’s theme is Mardi Paws. It’s a purrfectly good excuse to enjoy a magical evening filled with cocktails, live music, silent auction and a delicious feast. With every toast and dance move, you’ll be raising funds for life-saving programs and a new facility for abandoned dogs and cats.

Keep supporting local animal shelters and for those of you in the L.A. area, We hope to see you at the gala!

At Arhaus, we want to help make your house your home, finding the best furnishing solutions for you and your family—that includes your furry friends! Share your photos with us on Instagram using #arhauspets to show off your adoptable pets and Arhaus!
