A Holiday How-to for a Whimsical Easter Brunch

A holiday theme table can be tricky. The real secret is creating a setting that ties together, but doesn’t look too overdone. And most of us celebrate with family so we prefer to keep things a little more informal, yet tasteful.

To execute this delicate balance we once again tapped our own Katie Stone for a visual how-to pull this off.

Start with your colors. Katie chose to layer in different hues of green in the glassware and linens. Pops of purple are a contrasting compliment to this spring setting.

Keep things organized with simple hand-written placecards. It’s a bit more personal—and easier—than lining up perfectly printed cards.

As a nod to the holiday, she displayed the names beautifully with a whimsical Easter egg setting. Note that the purple egg and mint grass tie back to the original color palette.

Complete the look with complementary florals that are casually placed in small vases. Lovely, yet functional as guests can easily see each other across the table to catch up.
