Loving the Arhaus Dining Collections: Our Inside Takes
At Arhaus, we take Dining very seriously. From one-of-a-kind Dining Tables, to luxurious yet functional Buffets, to Dining Chairs that you could just melt into, we believe in craftsmanship, comfort, and sustainability. This isn’t to say we don’t have favorites though. We had a chance to talk to our Dining team and ask them about their favorite items. From the artistic to the practical to pure beauty, the responses were as varied as our interviewees. Read on and enjoy everyone’s takes on their favorite Dining Collection.
Bell’Arte—Leia Santos, Director of Product Development
No two pieces are alike in the Bell’Arte collection. The finishes are hand-applied using century-old techniques. This process creates multiple layers and gives it the look of an authentic Italian antique. The collection is handcrafted in Italy by true artisan partners we’ve been working with for over 20 years. Bell’Arte pieces can also be customized and signed with your family name, transforming it into an heirloom quality piece that can be passed down generations.
Petra Century Marble—Arica DeBaggis, Buyer – Dining
The Petra table is a showstopper. Anyone that comes over for dinner will love how different it is, and the fact that each piece comes with a unique history is a great conversation starter. The materials that make up this work of art are naturally found and handpicked. Each piece is unique because the petrification process varies—from the type and age of the tree to the sediments nearby to the time it takes to petrify, there is nothing like this anywhere else. This table pairs really nicely with any bright white upholstered chair, especially with the Torino chair in Chalet Oyster.
The Asolo—Lindsey Forepaugh, Assistant Buyer – Dining
The Asolo collection is incredibly versatile for interior decorating. Add a slipcovered chair to the table for a formal look, something upholstered for casual, or choose a simple wood frame chair for a farmhouse look. The hand sculpted Asolo credenza has a very old-world shape, which adds character to the look of the room and also creates plenty of storage space. Round tables, like the Asolo dining table, are great for promoting conversations in large groups and being able to see each other!
The Luca—Kirsten Rice, Merchandise Planner – Dining
The Luca Round Table is a favorite for anyone living in a small space. Perfect for that one-bedroom apartment! The mixed materials make it so easy to dress up or down for any occasion. The reclaimed pine base, which is salvaged from old structures, makes it feel like you have a piece of history in your home. The bluestone top is at once unique, beautiful, and extremely durable, with variations in color and mottling of beautiful blues and greys that run across its surface. The best part is, you will have this piece for years to come. Even when upgrading from an apartment to an actual house, there will always be a home for Luca!
The Acero—Kelly Rohrich, Assistant Product Developer – Dining
The simple, modern base of the Acero dining table, paired with a metal banded top is enough to pull you in— but once you get closer and see the detail in the metal, you’ll be hooked. The rich browns, greys, golds, and even rust tones brought out in the top through the oxidation process bring beautiful contrasted warmth to the metal. What makes this piece really unique is that artisans leave the panels of solid iron outside to naturally oxidize, for a weathered look. But, weather is unpredictable, so each panel comes out a little different. The creativity and passion behind each Acero piece makes it a work of art. Not only something to admire, but something you can truly appreciate the more you interact with.
The Tavola—Bethany Yert, GMM
The Tavola dining table has a cozy farmhouse aesthetic with contemporary functionality that suits an open modern dining space. Try pairing it with the Scala Dining Chair and Alice Slipcover Chair to add a touch of drama. Handmade by Italian artisans, the painted grey base and natural oak tone top are constructed with mortise-and-tenon joinery, giving this piece exceptional strength and stability. The best part—self-storing leaves allow you to accommodate extra seating at family gatherings, holiday dinners, and kids birthday parties!
The Kensington—Brittany Tompkins, DMM
The Kensington is made out of sustainably sourced oak veneers which are selected for their strength and distinct grain—coupled with solid craftsmanship, this dining collection will stand the test of time. These tables are durable enough to be used daily but also can be dressed up for your next fancy holiday family feast! Pair this table with the Eaton bench to make it look and feel younger, while still being sophisticated.
